Chesapeake seniors get super support from Sheriff's Office



The 20th Annual Senior Support Services Seminar was sponsored by the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office and was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Chesapeake's Sheriff John R. Newhart gave a hearty family welcome to all in attendance. Area seniors were educated about services available to them throughout the city. Hundreds of people attended the popular two-day luncheon event, which attracted citizens, exhibitors, agencies and non-profit groups in the health care and recreation fields.
